Komla Dumor is dead.

Ghana-born Dumor was a presenter for BBC World News and its Focus on Africa programme. 

Komla Dumor has died suddenly at his home in London at the age of 41, it has been announced.

One of Ghana's best-known journalists, he joined the BBC as a radio broadcaster in 2007 after a decade of journalism in Ghana.
BBC Global News Director Peter Horrocks called Dumor a leading light of African journalism who would be deeply missed.

February 2 : Mom and dad had passed away. They both died in a tragic car crash on their way to my birthday. I have been mourning for weeks now and feel very depressed. I can't believe mom and dad are gone. My life will never be the same without them and I feel so empty and lonely. Mom was like my best friend and I always use tell her all my secrets and now she's gone. She was the best mom in the world. I was daddy's little princess and all my cousins and other relatives use to get jealous of me. He always gave me what I wanted and was always there for me when ever I needed him. Since I am the only only child, I pretty much enjoyed everything on my own and didn't have to fight with any sibling. But now I wish I had a sibling especially big brother!

Before I started dancing, I had a very low confidence level. Now I have pride in every step I take and choices I make.

It has helped me through times of stress and joy. There are so many emotions that can be expressed with movement. If there was a burden I carried, I can always dance to get rid of it.

Dance has made me realize what love is. Not the love that you feel towards another person, but the type of love where you can not live your life without doing it. This is the most passionate expression of love one can ever know.
